PLEASE HELP!!! We are using the discriminant to find how many solutions there are in the quadratic equation. I understand that if it's >0 then 2 real solutions, =0 then 1 real solution, and <0 no real solutions. Why when a discriminant is negative there are two solutions but other times 0? Please explain how can you tell.
